Tandoori Chicken

INGREDIENTS
Marinate
 3 oz Plain Greek yogurt
 2 tbsp Freshly squeezed lemon juice
 2 tbsp Ginger Garlic paste
 2 tsp Oil
 2 tsp Indian red pepper (you can use cayenne or even Korean red chili powder in a pinch)
 2 tsp Salt
 ¾ tsp Turmeric
 1 tbsp Paprika
 2 tsp Coriander powder
 1 tbsp Cumin powder
 1 tsp Garam Masala
 6 Chicken leg quarters, cut into drumsticks and thighs

DIRECTIONS

MIx marinade in a bowl. Use a sharp knife to cut slits into the chicken pieces; this will allow the marinade to really get into the chicken. 3 slits per drumstick and 4 to 5 per thigh should do the trick.

Place the chicken in a large dish. Spread the marinade all over the chicken and let marinate at least 12 hours, but not more than 2 days. Be sure to take the chicken out of the refrigerator 3 to 4 hours prior to grilling

Grill outdoors or in oven bake for 20 mins at 350 Deg. Increase to 450 Deg and make another 10 mins or broil to get dark spots.

Serve with sliced onion, cucumber and cut lime wedges
